The close-out ceremony of the ππ£ππ‘πͺπ¨ππ«π πΎπ‘ππ’ππ©π πΎπππ£ππ πππͺπππ©ππ€π£ ππ§π€ππ§ππ’, a project implemented by Safehost International Initiative a member organization, and sponsored by #TheEducatorsLab, was successfully held.
The project focused on educating students on waste management and recycling. As part of the activities, students went on a field trip #Ecobarter, a recycling center in Abuja, where they gained first-hand experience of how recycling works in practice.
During the visit, the students learned how recycled materials can be transformed into interlocking tiles used for construction, bags and clothes. The process was highly educational and inspiring for the students.
To further encourage innovation, a project challenge on waste management and climate change was given to the students. Two outstanding students with the most innovative project outcomes were awarded gifts during the close-out ceremony.
