Welcome to Safehost International Initiative

Safehost International Initiative is an inclusive school located in Kurudu, Abuja and provides both targeted early intervention and inclusive education, using research-based and evidence-based educational approaches. We also serve a global virtual community as well.

Safehost International Initiative adopts intensive one-on-one special education approaches, under a loving atmosphere, and uses an integrated curriculum as well as other research-based and evidence-based educational methods to hone the potentials of our kids. We operate a social inclusion and ensure that the neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals are taught according to their needs. In addition, pre-academic skills, play, social skills, language skills and daily living skills are also employed in transforming our students with special needs and preparing them to reach their full potentials.

Qualified and Certified Teachers

We have qualified, certified and highly skilled teachers who immerse themselves in what they do and shape their practice according to the guiding principles of the early years foundation stage and the key areas of learning and development.

Our teachers take into account the individual needs and interests of the children in planning lessons and are committed to supporting every child to develop.
They aim to make learning fun and exciting by providing a variety of learning materials that children find interesting and challenging but not overwhelming which also help to develop their enthusiasm for learning.

Our teachers are global minded and aim to be consistent in the quality of teaching they offer.

Utilizing potentials to fulfil purpose and impact society through functional education. SHII works to identify and nurture the potentials of each child through a broad range of activity-based learning, using approaches geared towards self-worth, appreciation for nature and love for others.

OUR OBJECTIVES:

• To educate and care for children with special needs.
• To train teachers and service providers.
• To provide educational resources.

We aim to give all individuals an opportunity to grow by honing their potentials. Ensuring that they develop positive mindset, gaining life long skills and independent mindset.
